To secure the musicians for your special day we require a 25% deposit. This will give you peace of mind as all the players will be locked in and keep them from taking any other bookings on your big day. The remaining balance isn’t due till 28 days prior to your wedding.
Are Your Booking Fees Refundable?
We know plans can change and are happy to work with you. Because we lock in all the players for your date and will decline any other bookings the deposit is non-refundable. However, if you need to change the date or reschedule, we are happy to move your deposit to a new date without penalty. As long as it’s done 28 days prior to your wedding date. Keep in mind this is subject to availability.
What Are Your Contract Terms?
If you terminate the contract within the 28 days, the full gross amount must still be paid. If you need to reschedule or postpone your wedding, you will need to give us notice prior to 28 days of your event. If notice is given past the 28 days only 50% of the deposit will be applied towards the new date as the guys will miss out from taking any other work for that day.
Special Conditions Regarding Covid
In the current climate from 2022, most restrictions have lifted, and thankfully most venues now have plans in place and can still operate. We have made the following exceptions for Covid related postponements and changes.
In the case of your date falling under heavy Covid restrictions, such as lockdowns or no dancing, and restrictions make it impossible for your wedding to go ahead or for us to create a fun live music experience, we are happy to move your deposit to another date with no extra charge.
We can only operate under the regulations of the state in which your wedding is in. If weddings and events are able to go ahead in QLD, but you have interstate guests that may not attend, unfortunately this would fall under a change of circumstance and would result in the loss of your deposit.
