With Redtie we have tried to make this process as easy as possible. Once you’ve decided to lock in Redtie for your big day we will send you an invoice for a 20% deposit which can be paid via eft transfer/direct deposit. From there you will be asked a couple of questions and then it’s all confirmed.
The short answer is YES!! Redtie Band comes with a full professional sound system, Lighting and a wired microphone for speeches. All we need is a power socket and we are right to go. A wireless microphone can also be provided at a small cost for speeches if required.
Redtie will be all setup and sound checked at least half an hour before the wedding kicks off.
Yes. REDTIE band is based in South East Queensland from Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions, however we are available for shows from Sydney to Melbourne to regional Australia and even overseas. When filling in the quote form we will ask for the weddings postcode. If the region is outside of our normal area an additional fee will be calculated and added to the quote, to cover additional travel costs. For overseas weddings please call us directly to work out exact costs.
The Band will perform upto 4 x 45min sets over a 5 hour period. This satisfies most weddings however additional time / sets can be arranged at a small additional cost if required.
There are a number of factors to consider when choosing the perfect band for your event.
What is your entertainment budget?
This will alter the number of musicians. The band is available from a 2 piece option. This will include a drummer, bass player or piano player and a guitarist/ singer. All the band options after this can include a wide variety of other instrumentalists including; male or female singer, horn section, percussionist, and additional lead guitarist.
What style of wedding is it?
Are you having a stand up canapés reception or a refined sit down dinner? Redtie will create the perfect atmosphere and can change throughout the evening to cater to the changes in the night. If you are having a suit and tie event we can offer a larger band performing more classic hits and easy listening music. Or if you’re the kind of couple that like to party we can keep the hits coming all night.
Can we have a band that does both?
Yes. Most weddings we start off playing easy listening music and ramp it up as the evening goes on and the champagne keeps flowing.
